As the draft approaches — we’re only eight days away! — rumors continue to swirl around the Browns and what they’re doing with all their picks.
As any reader of this blog would know, i want Myles Garrett with the first-overall pick. And I desperately do not want Mitchell Trubisky, at least not in the first round. He’s simply not worth that high of a pick.
What, then, should the Browns do with their second first-round pick?
This goes against anything the Browns tend to do, but how about trading up?
Perhaps this is just me, but I’m intrigued by Alabama tight end O.J. Howard. he’s been described “the real deal” and “a complete prospect.” Howard would be a huge, huge weapon for the Browns. He’d give whoever the quarterback ends up being a great target over the middle. Also, he’d clog the middle, opening up the sidelines for the receivers.
If they wouldn’t have to give up too much to nab him, O.J. Howard would look awfully good in brown and orange.
